Delivery of Wood
After 104 days in a sealed container from Ghana, the wood arrives at Qantab.
The planks have been cut from the dense wood, Afzelia africana, so are extremely heavy. In total, 42 tons of wood has come from Ghana, and the team now need to unload it, clean off the fungus that has grown on it, and finally dry the planks, before construction can get underway.
