Jewel of Muscat formally named by dignitaries from Oman & Singapore.
Jewel of Muscat has been formally named in a ceremony performed by leading dignitaries from Oman and Singapore. Goh Chok Tong, former Singaporean Prime Minister and H.E Abdul Aziz Rawas, cultural adviser to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said unveiled a plaque formally giving the ship the name already chosen for her by His Majesty. The ceremony took place at The Wave marina near Muscat, Oman in front of delegations from Oman, Singapore and the countries which Jewel will visit.
