How many crew members are onboard? Is there a Sri Lankan member?
The Jewel will carry between 17 and 21 crew members on each of her journey legs. On her first leg, between Oman and India, she had a crew of 17 people. In the next 2 legs (Cochin to Galle, and Galle to Penang), she will carry 18 crew members, one of whom will be Mohamed Ismail, a Sri Lankan who hails from near Colombo. Mohamed Ismail is a boat-builder by trade.
